RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We want you to love your Mimi Miya purchase. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing your order, particularly when purchasing a made-to-order, custom or personalised item.

30-Day Returns — Ready-to-Wear Items

We accept change-of-mind returns on eligible ready-to-wear and in-stock items within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it: unworn, unused and unwashed, with all original tags attached and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Items showing signs of wear, alteration, washing, damage, perfume, makeup, fake tan or other marks may not be accepted.

To request a return, please contact us at info@mimimiya.com before sending your item.

Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide you with the return address and instructions on how and where to send your package.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us. Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law.

Made-to-Order, Couture, Custom & Personalised Items

Made-to-order, couture, custom-made, personalised and specially ordered items are produced or ordered specifically for you. Please carefully review the product description, photographs, sizing information, measurements, garment length and selected options before placing your order.

For made-to-order styles, the product image shown on a white background represents the standard design and length of the garment you are ordering.

Additional model, lifestyle or customer photographs may show previous custom orders, alternative lengths, styling or customisations. These additional images are provided for inspiration and visual reference and may differ from the standard version of the garment being ordered.

Unless an alternative length, colour, design detail or customisation is specifically stated in the product description, selected as an available option, or confirmed in writing by Mimi Miya as part of your order, your garment will be produced according to the standard design shown in the white-background product image and the specifications stated on the product page.

If you require a particular length, including floor length, or would like any alteration or customisation to the standard design, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability, production time and any additional cost.

Made-to-order, couture, custom, personalised and specially ordered items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for change of mind, including where:

• the customer changes their mind or event;
• an incorrect size is selected;
• a different fit or length was expected where the supplied garment matches the stated product specifications;
• a customisation shown in a model, lifestyle or customer photograph was expected but was not included in the customer's order; or
• the item has been produced according to the product description, white-background product image and confirmed order specifications.

Please choose sizing carefully and contact us before ordering if you need assistance.

This exclusion does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Sizing & Fit

Sizing and fit can vary between styles, and the appearance and length of a garment may vary depending on the child's height and proportions.

Please refer to the sizing information provided on the product page and contact us at info@mimimiya.com before ordering if you are unsure which size to select.

For made-to-order items, choosing an incorrect size does not constitute a fault with the product where the garment supplied corresponds with the size ordered.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if your item is defective, damaged or if you have received an incorrect item.

Please provide your order number and photographs of the issue where possible so that we can assess the matter promptly.

Where an item has a major problem or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Where applicable, Mimi Miya will cover reasonable return shipping costs for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items.

Sale & Promotional Items

Sale or promotional items remain subject to any rights and remedies that apply under Australian Consumer Law.

For change-of-mind purchases, additional return restrictions may apply to items clearly identified as final sale at the time of purchase.

Gift cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Exchanges

If you would like a different size or style for an eligible ready-to-wear item, please contact us at info@mimimiya.com.

Where a change-of-mind return is eligible, the easiest option may be to return the original item and place a new order for your preferred size or style. All exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind exchanges.

Made-to-order, couture, custom, personalised and specially ordered items cannot be exchanged for change of mind.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for ensuring that they select the correct product, size and specifications before ordering.

Any applicable statutory consumer rights in the customer's country are not intended to be excluded by this policy where they cannot lawfully be excluded.

Customers are responsible for change-of-mind return shipping costs and any applicable duties, taxes or charges associated with a return, except where otherwise required by law.

European Union — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If your order is shipped to a country where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, including eligible orders shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within the applicable statutory period.

For eligible EU purchases, this is generally 14 days, subject to applicable consumer law and lawful exceptions.

Certain goods, including goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by applicable law. This may include certain Mimi Miya made-to-order, custom or personalised products.

Eligible returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original condition with tags attached.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an eligible return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns except where required by law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
